Expedition Everest

Thrill seekers, this ride is for you! Enter your own train car (two people per row) for your very own adventure into the Himalayans. Just watch out for that pesky Yeti who doesn’t take kindly to humans invading his territory.

During this roller coaster you’ll head up the peaks of the Himalayan Mountains, which will offer great views of Disney World. But you won’t have much of a chance to take in the view before your train is barreling its way through dark tunnels, whipping left and right to avoid the massive paws of the Yeti. Be aware, once you reach the top of the peak it’s all downhill from there! And did I mention it not only goes downhill, but at times you’re going backwards?

If you love roller coasters, this is a must, but be aware….the forward and backward motion of the train can cause even the most seasoned warrior to leave with an upset stomach.

Mom’s worry note: It goes without saying that if your child is nervous around roller coasters or yeti’s you’ll want to skip this one. Because half the ride is inside dark tunnels, children who are nervous in the dark might also have problems.
