Food and Wine opens it’s doors, or booth doors anyway this week at the Epcot International Food And Wine Festival. Fall is definitely one of our favorite times to visit the parks, but September can still be a hot time. This week we share a great way to cool down while you explore, the Frozen Coke. Frozen drinks can be found throughout the parks, but Drinkwallah at the Animal Kingdom is the one with the best name. You can also enjoy a frozen Blue Raspberry or Lemonade at Drinkwallah. So next time you are in the park, just say – Hey family let’s all go to Drinkwallah……

This week we head back to one of our favorite counter service restaurants at the Magic Kingdom, the Columbia Harbour House. As the seasons change from summer to fall, it’s time we find some hearty warm food to keep us going. On this occasion we selected the Chicken Pot Pie. This is the perfect meal to fill you up and keep you warm on those upcoming Florida evenings. The pot pie is filled with large pieces of chicken, potatoes, and veggies. The buttery crust and bread crumbs on top were the perfect touch and made this a meal that we would definitely get again.

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. We had Hermine pass through the area last night, but we made it through without any damage. Now we are just waiting for some sunshine, just like the sunshine iced tea that is currently being offered at the Joffrey locations in Walt Disney World Parks. We have purchased these at both the Epcot and Animal Kingdom entrances, but they can be found at most of the Joffrey locations on property. This tea is a great refreshing way to enjoy the parks it is a mix of black tea and the fruity taste of passion fruit. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the parks on these last few days of summer. Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we are featuring one of our favorite spots to see the Winnie the Pooh characters and catch a bite to eat, Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom. This beautiful building located directly on the hub of the Magic Kingdom is modeled after the Crystal Palace in Hyde Park that was built to house the Great Exhibition in 1851. The Crystal Palace is a buffet style restaurant where Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger come around to greet guests right at your table. The buffet is full of some great flavors including prime rib, slow roasted pork, chicken, veggies, a salad section, and a sundae bar. Selections vary at this restaurant depending on the season. Keep in mind this is a character meal and if you would like to see all the characters be sure to give yourself at least 1 hour for dining as it does take some time for them to circle the restaurant. No worries though, there is enough food to keep you occupied while you wait :).
Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. It goes without saying that we love Disney Mac and Cheese, so on this trip we spotting something a bit similar. The Nudel Gratin from Sommerfest in Germany at Epcot, what is it you ask, well it’s Baked Macaroni with Cheese Custard. And its oh so darn good. Similar to a baked Mac and Cheese, we loved the flavor and texture of this treat. If you are looking for something on the smaller side, maybe a pick me up as you circle World Showcase, this will fit the bill. Enjoy!!

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. On our quick trip to the parks last weekend we pulled up our My Disney Experience App to see what was available. We were in Epcot circling World Showcase and picked Teppan Edo, as it’s been awhile since we dined here. The overall experience is much like any Japanese Steakhouse, where the chef cooks right at your table. On this occasion we had an excellent chef and our food was cooked perfectly. Overall a very enjoyable meal. Take a quick look at our experience.
