Favorite Food Friday – Shawarma Chicken and Lamb Platter
Our Favorite Food This Week: Shawarma Chicken and Lamb Platter
Location: Tangierine Cafe – Morocco, Epcot
Cost: $14.99
Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we head over to Epcot as it opens the Flower and Garden Festival for the year. Head over to the Tangierine Cafe and check out the Chicken and Lamb platter. This is a huge meal and can easily be shared by two or more. It is considered one of the best bang for your buck meals if you are on the Disney Dining Plan as well. The platter is served with side of Hummus, Tabouleh and a Tangierine Couscous Salad with fresh Moroccan bread. I have to say we weren’t so sure this was something that we would like, but we had heard so many great things about it. This is an amazing meal and very filling, we love the pita pockets and hummus, be sure to give it a try on your next trip.

Hidden Mickey – Outside Mitsukoshi in Japan
Our Hidden Mickey this week comes from the Japan pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. This one can be tough to spot, but it’s always fun to find it. As you approach the Mitsukoshi shop in Japan there are a few wondering paths in front. If you are facing the front of the store from World Showcase lagoon follow the right path up to where there are taller bushes. See the yellow arrow in our picture below. Look just in front of these bushes, depending on how the gardeners have trimmed them you might have to push a few leaves aside. On the ground in front of these bushes is three rocks carefully arranged in our favorite pattern. Hi Mickey!
Where have you found a Hidden Mickey at Epcot?

Favorite Food Friday : All American Sundae
Our Favorite Food This Week: All American Sundae
Location: Plaza Ice Cream Parlor – Magic Kingdom
Cost: $5.39
Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we are sticking around the Magic Kingdom and featuring another great dessert. As you wonder down Main Street USA you are bound to work up an appetite. One of our favorite places to stop is the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. The parlor features many different varieties of ice cream treats. This week we are featuring the All-American Sundae which is filled with old-fashioned vanilla and chocolate ice cream with hot fudge, peanut butter drizzle, whipped cream, and a cherry. I know my mouth is watering too. The sundae is always amazing, but some days, like the one above, you may get a bit more topping than ice cream. Be sure to stop in at the Plaza on your next trip to the park.
