Our Favorite Food This Week: Hummus
Location: Fillmore’s Taste-In, Disney’s California Adventure
Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we head west to Disney’s California Adventure and check out Fillmore’s Taste-In. Fillmore’s is a groovy place to pick up a healthy snack. Be sure to stop by at night as the lighting really sets the mood. Fillmore’s offers up many healthy snacks including fresh fruits, veggies, juices, and our favorite, hummus. The hummus comes in a small container along with a container of pretzel chips, the overall flavor was very good and helped to tide us over between breakfast and lunch. Next time you are at DCA don’t miss your chance to fill your tank at Fillmore’s.

Our Hidden Mickey this week comes from the Maharajah Jungle Trek at the Animal Kingdom. Don’t skip the walking paths at the Animal Kingdom, there is so much to see. These paths are amazingly themed and offer some great up close experiences with many animals. Want to take a break from the crowds and enjoy the shade, take a walk through the Jungle Trek. And while you are there, watch out for Hidden Mickey‘s you just might spot one or two. Like this one below….
Look closely at the area just below his hand on the bow. So many people have found this one you can see the dirt marks from where people have pointed it out :).

Our Favorite Food This Week: Guinness Beef Stew
Location: Guinness Storehouse, Dublin Irelan
Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we head outside the parks and across the pond to the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin Ireland. As the weather cools here in America one of our favorite dishes to warm up with is a hearty beef stew. On our Adventures by Disney trip to Ireland last year we stopped by the Guinness Storehouse for a tour and some amazing Guinness Beef Stew. The stew was thick, hot, and full of flavor. Highly recommended if you find yourself at the Storehouse. Here is a link to the recipe if you can’t make it there. And the video below walks you through step by step. Enjoy!
