Our Favorite Food This Week: Boeuf Bourguignon and Creme Brulee Location: Epcot – Food and Wine, France Price: Boeuf Bourguignon – $6.25 / Creme Brulee – $4.25
Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we head over to Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival which is filled with food, food, and more food. This year the festival runs from August 31 – November 13. If you get the chance be sure to check it out – there is no additional cost besides the park entrance fee to attend the festival. Our stop today is in France where we tried both the Boeuf Bourguignon and Creme Brulee. Both were very good, but the Creme Brulee was one of the best we have tried on property. The Boeuf Bourguignon has been around for many years and is Cabernet braised short ribs which were very tender with mashed potatoes. If it looks and sounds good to you – stop by our friends at The Disney Food Blog for the recipe. The Creme Brulee was creamy and full of flavor with raspberry jam at the bottom that you could mix in with each bite. Have you tried something that you simply love at this years festival? Let us know!
This week’s theme: Epcot International Food & Wine Festival
Fall is one of our favorite times to visit the parks. All the parks are decorated with their Halloween and fall decor and of course the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. Nothing like circling the globe and filling up on some amazing food. Do you have a favorite this year???
This weeks theme is water – and what better way to end the summer than at one of Disney’s Water Parks. These shots are from Blizzard Beach. What is your favorite Disney Water Park?
Sorry I’m late to the party, we are still in recovery mode at home and our internet service is spotty at best, We have been out all day while they are replacing many of the lines that Irma took with her. For today’s theme “Disney Letter P” we went to one of our favorite Disney Resorts, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. What comes to your mind when you think of the Disney Letter P?
Our Favorite Food This Week: Night Blossom Location: Pongu Pongu – Animal Kingdom Price: $5.99 (8.99 with glowing seed)
Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we take a step into Pandora – The World of Avatar at the Animal Kingdom and take a look at one of the most talked about drinks, the Night Blossom. This drink is available at the Pongu Pongu (which means Party Party in the Na’vi language). The Night Blossom is a frozen drink that is filled with both sweet and sour flavors. The flavors are hard to explain, think sour skittles or similar sweet sour candy. The Passion Fruit Boba Balls are definitely a nice treat, the straw that you get is extra wide so these little guys can come right up into your mouth and burst with flavors. Overall it was a great drink on a hot day and one that we would enjoy again. What’s your favorite food in Pandora???
Our last trip we stayed at Pop Century in the 80’s where we got to check out the new renovated rooms. Below is a video if you would like a closer look.
