Favorite Food Friday – Thanksgiving Flatbread

Favorite Food Friday – Thanksgiving Flatbread

Our Favorite Food This Week: Thanksgiving Flatbread
Location: Pinocchio Village Haus – Magic Kingdom
Price:  $10.99

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends.   The parks have switched from Halloween decorations to Christmas overnight, and the food selections have followed as well.   This week we head over to the Magic Kingdom and stop in at Pinocchio Village Haus for their latest Featured Flatbread.   This month they are featuring the Thanksgiving Dinner Flatbread.   This flatbread is covered with Turkey, Stuffing, Cheese, Cranberry BBQ Sauce, and is topped with Gravy.   The overall flavor was good and I did enjoy trying it, but I’m not much of a stuffing guy and this had a bit too much stuffing and not enough turkey for my taste.   I always enjoy trying something new, but this one won’t be added to my must have list on our next trip.   Have you tried it?   What did you think?

Favorite Food Friday – Boeuf Bourguignon and Creme Brulee

Favorite Food Friday – Boeuf Bourguignon and Creme Brulee

Our Favorite Food This Week: Boeuf Bourguignon and Creme Brulee
Location: Epcot – Food and Wine, France
Price:  Boeuf Bourguignon – $6.25 / Creme Brulee – $4.25

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends.   This week we head over to Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival which is filled with food, food, and more food.  This year the festival runs from August 31 – November 13.   If you get the chance be sure to check it out – there is no additional cost besides the park entrance fee to attend the festival.    Our stop today is in France where we tried both the Boeuf Bourguignon and Creme Brulee.  Both were very good, but the Creme Brulee was one of the best we have tried on property.    The Boeuf Bourguignon has been around for many years and is Cabernet braised short ribs which were very tender with mashed potatoes.  If it looks and sounds good to you – stop by our friends at The Disney Food Blog for the recipe.   The Creme Brulee was creamy and full of flavor with raspberry jam at the bottom that you could mix in with each bite.   Have you tried something that you simply love at this years festival?   Let us know!

Favorite Food Friday – Onion Rings

Favorite Food Friday – Onion Rings

Our Favorite Food This Week: Beer-battered Onion Rings
Location: 50’s Prime Time Cafe – Hollywood Studios
Price:  $7

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends.   One of our favorite spots at Hollywood Studios is 50’s Prime Time,  maybe it’s the counters that remind me of my grandparents house, maybe it’s the way they treat you like family, or maybe just maybe it’s the darn good food.   There are a couple things that I’m a big fan of, ice cream,as you all know, and Onion Rings.  There are not too many places to find Onion Rings on property, but the Beer Battered Onion Rings at 50’s Prime time are a good start.   The rings come out in a small frying basket and are served with a Horseradish Sauce, but we opted for Ranch.  Overall very tasty and something I would definitely get again.   Where is your favorite spot on property for Onion Rings?????
