Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we head back to the Magic Kingdom to the Plaza Restaurant for the Angus Chuck Cheeseburger. This burger was made with high quality meat, had an overall great flavor and was not dried out. It is served on a flour-dusted kaiser roll with lettuce, tomato, and onion. You can also choose other toppings including : Cheddar, American cheese, Bacon, Grilled Mushrooms and Grilled Onions (Veggie Burgers are also available on request.) The side choices are broccoli slaw, homemade chips or French fries. I tried the homemade chips which were very good.
The Plaza Restaurant opened with the Magic Kingdom and can be found at the end of Main Street USA on the hub.
What is your favorite restaurant on Main Street USA?
That’s one place in the Magic Kingdom that we have never eaten. Not exactly sure why. The burger looks pretty yummy.
I may have eaten here once or twice as a kid, but this was the first time my family ate here. Overall it was an okay experience, if I ate here again I would go light on my meal and save room for dessert as those looked amazing.

Anyway… I’ve been to Plaza once. I think I had the Rueben sandwich. I wasn’t so impressed so I haven’t been back. I’m trying to eat at different restaurants about 1/2 of the time when I go, hence the Paradiso 37 post today. 🙂

We’ve not eaten at The Plaza (yet). I love Casey’s and I guess if I’m going to pick a Main Street fave, that would have to be it. But…Gaston’s Tavern and the Roasted Pork Shank – currently my Magic Kingdom food obsession!
