Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we are super excited to bring you our new Favorite Food Friday logo, huge thanks to my brother Shane for putting it together for us. Let us know what you think in the comment below.
This week we head to Epcot one last time before the end of Flower and Garden Festival and take on the Cronut. The Cronut is a croissant doughnut tossed in cinnamon sugar and it’s oh so good melting in your mouth amazement. The layers of the cronut are very buttery and have a somewhat doughy consistency but the mix of the butter and cinnamon is beyond good. We found that we liked the cronut without the ice cream a bit more than with, not exactly sure why but the tastes didn’t mix as well as we thought they would. You can’t go wrong with either though, so be sure to give them a try next time you are in the park!
Did you spot your favorite Disney Snack in our new Favorite Food Friday icon?
I am SO planning on trying a Cronut for the first time at the end of this month when I will be ON VACATION AT WALT DISNEY WORLD! Sorry for shouting, I’m just so excited! I plan on doing a compare and contrast taste test between the Cronut and the Chocolate Croissant which may both be purchased at Epcot. Let the best snack win!
Oh we haven’t tried the chocolate croissant, let us know how it compares. Have a great time on your trip!
Thanks, Sean – I’ll probably have to do a write up of the battle so I have another post for your wicked cool Favorite Food Friday hop!
That is a must try for me! I’ll be there Sunday checking it out. Yum! Looks and sounds delicious!
Oh it is – enjoy!
I’ve had the real cronut from Dominique Ansel bakery and it is pretty darn good. I can’t wait to see how this guy stacks up!!
