Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. Today we stop by the Japan booth at the Food and Wine Festival where we get DisneyDayByDay Jr to try sushi. We chose the Spicy Hand Roll, this roll features Tuna & Salmon with Chili Pepper, Soy Sauce & Sesame Oil Topped with Kazan Volcano Sauce. Overall the flavor was great, yes the volcano sauce does have a kick, but it complemented the roll and added enough flavor to keep your mouth wanting more. This is one we would definitely try again, yes even DisneyDayByDay Jr agrees.
Sushi always looks so pretty! I’ve never tried it and doubt I ever will – I don’t really like eating cooked fish. But it is fascinating to me how they can create something so unique and beautiful out of food.
I always miss the Food & Wine Festival. I will have to remember to try the sushi next year!
