Hidden Mickey Monday: Epcot Japan Koi Pond

Hidden Mickey Monday: Epcot Japan Koi Pond

While looking for Hidden Mickey’s be sure to look up and down as you walk through the parks.   We found the one below in the Koi pond at Epcot in the Japan pavilion.  On our last few trips we have really enjoyed this area and love watching the large and small Koi that inhabit the pond.   But look close at the drain in the pond, notice anything familiar?

Hidden Mickey Monday: Living with the Land

Hidden Mickey Monday: Living with the Land

Today’s Hidden Mickey Monday is from one of my favorite rides – Living with the Land.   As you pass through the greenhouses, pay special attention for some Mickey shapes.   Yes you can find them in the pumpkins and other fruits and veggies, but also pay attention to how the colored plants are arranged.   Take a look at this not so hidden extra large Mickey.

As you enter Elephant Country and spot Flamingo Island, be sure to take a close look at the shape of the island.   Yes it’s a classic Mickey shape.   As build up occurs around the edges, cast member re-dig the sides to ensure it maintains the Mickey shape.

Hidden Mickey Monday: Old Key West Resort

Hidden Mickey Monday: Old Key West Resort

Today’s Hidden Mickey Monday is from the Old Key West Resort Slide.   Old Key West was originally called Disney’s Vacation Club Resort and was the first Disney Vacation Club Timeshare Resort.   The resort is styled after a Key West theme and rooms are the largest of any of the Timeshare resorts.   The pool itself is over 149,000 gallons and is made to look like a large sand castle.   Enjoy sliding through Mickey’s head :).

Hidden Mickey Monday – Epcot Morocco

Hidden Mickey Monday – Epcot Morocco

Today’s Hidden Mickey Monday is from the Morocco in World Showcase at Epcot.   I have walked past this Mickey many times and as I was reviewing pictures it looks like I really enjoyed taking pictures of it.   The Morocco area is currently under construction as a new waterfront restaurant “Spice Road Table” is built.   The new restaurant will serve various small plates and refreshments inspired by the Mediterranean. Seating will be both indoors and out, and will be open by the end of 2013.
