Our Hidden Mickey this week is found on Pelican Plunge at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. Do you see it?
See it? If not take a look at the lifesavers just above the tops of the kid’s heads as they wait to get on the slide. The 2,400 sq foot floating platform contains two water slides. One of the slides is enclosed with both of them finishing into the lagoon at Castaway Cay. There are other fun ways to get wet on the platform including a large bucket dump. You have to swim out to the platform and the water is around 6 feet deep at the end of the slide.

Our Hidden Mickey this week is found on the Peter Pan’s Flight Attraction at the Magic Kingdom. Just as you enter the ride, be sure to look down at Nana’s dog house. Just in front of the dog house entrance is a Mickey. It’s pretty tough to see if your eyes haven’t adjusted to the darkness yet. Below are a couple shots, one close up to help you see it better.
Nana is a Newfoundland in the 1953 animated film Peter Pan. When George is leaving Wendy’s room he trips over Nana which is how she ends up in the dog house. Attempting to take her with to Neverland was stopped because of her leash. But Nana is there for their return and back in the house and out of the dog house.

Our Hidden Mickey this week was found in Epcot’s World Showcase at the Maelstrom attraction. As you are waiting in line to board the viking boats, take a look at the mural on the wall. We had heard there were a few in this mural and with the help of our friend Steve the Hidden Mickey Guy, we were able to finally find them and grab a shot to share. This one is our favorite, pay close attention to the hats. A close up is available as well to help you spot it, we will be featuring more in upcoming posts.
In case you don’t see it, here is a closer view
