Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we are hanging out at Hollywood Studios celebrating their 25th Birthday and enjoying food at Mama Melrose. The Oven-baked Chicken alla Parmigiana is a Breaded Chicken Breast with Marinara Sauce topped with Melted Mozzarella over Spaghetti. Although very good, my wife wasn’t blown away by the dish.

Our Favorite Food This Week: Smoked Turkey “Rib”
Location: Epcot Flower and Garden – The Smokehouse
Price: $4.75
Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week are staying at the Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival and walking around to the American Pavilion to The Smokehouse where we picked up the Smoked Turkey “Rib”. This tasted a lot like a smaller portion of the classic Disney Turkey Leg. Since we usually throw away a lot of meat on the turkey leg this portion size seemed to fit us better.
There is a sweet and a spicy barbecue sauce available at the condiment stations. We chose the sweet and it did go well with the smoked turkey.

Our Favorite Food This Week: Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade
Location: Epcot Flower and Garden – Pineapple Promenade

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we go to Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival to the Pineapple Promenade food booth. This booth has become famous for the Dole Whip served with rum, but if you are looking for something nonalcoholic to cool off with, look no further than the Violet Lemonade.
As you all remember on my last trip I was getting in touch with my purple side (American Tourister Purple Luggage), so I had to try the violet lemonade. The violet lemonade is a great way to cool off as you stroll around World Showcase. It was a perfect balance of Lemonade and other fruit flavors and we really enjoyed it.

Our Favorite Food This Week: Disney Jelly Belly
Location: Hallmark, Amazon, etc

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we go outside the parks and into my Disney lair at home. For my recent Birthday my wife and son gave me a Disney Jelly Belly dispenser. So far it has been a lot of fun, but only dispenses a few jelly beans at a time, although this might help with portion control I find that I may have the machine warn out pretty quickly to satisfy my jelly bean appetite.
To get the jelly beans out you have to push down on Mickey which in turn turns the gears and dispenses 2 or 3 beans. To fill my new machine, I also received a pack of Donald and Goofy Jelly Bellys. The Donald contains Berry Blue, Blueberry, Lemon, Orange, Sour Grape, Very Lemon, and Sour Orange. And, Goofy contains Green Apple, Lemon Lime, Orange Sherbet, Pinapple Pear Smoothie, Sour Apple, Sour Orange, and Strawberry Banana Smoothie. I have always enjoyed the flavor of a Jelly Belly and these beans are no exception.

Our Favorite Food This Week: Spring Pancake

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we head to the Food (Flower) and Garden Festival at Epcot to China and the Lotus House food booth.
The Spring Pancake consists of a pancake style wrap with chicken and apples. We loved the taste of this and the sweetness of the apples made it more interesting. What is your favorite food at the Flower and Garden festival this year?

Our Favorite Food This Week: Fried Shrimp Platter
Location: Columbia Harbour House – Magic Kingdom / Liberty Square
Price: $9.99
Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we head back to the Magic Kingdom and Liberty Square to enjoy a fried shrimp platter.
This large platter is served with cole slaw and steamed fresh broccoli, or French Fries as you can see we didn’t go the healthy route on this day. There are around 9 medium sized shrimp in the platter and they are pretty good. If you are snacking throughout the day this meal is perfect to share with a friend. My wife and I also like to order this and a chicken meal and share if you don’t want an all shrimp meal. What is your favorite meal at Columbia Harbour House?
