Our Favorite Food This Week: Violet Lemonade
Location: Pineapple Promenade, Epcot Flower and Garden Festival
Price: $3.50
Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we are featuring one of our favorites from the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, it’s the Frozen Violet Lemonade. This drink is the perfect balance between sweet and sour and comes frozen to help cool you down on those hot spring days in Florida. Our drink was topped with a edible flower direct from the greenhouses at the Living with the Land attraction in The Land pavilion.

This week’s theme: This is really good….

Not only is the food good, but we love to sit on the bridge and watch out the windows at Columbia Harbour House at the Magic Kingdom

This week’s theme: Celebrate Pi Day

Today is March 14 or 3.14 which is the same as Pi, so it’s Pi Day. In celebration of this Holiday we look back on Pizza Planet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Oh how you are missed……

This week’s theme: Foodie Fare

When it comes to Disney Food, my mind drifts to Disney Cruises. Where else can you eat what you want when you want and then order room service.

Our Favorite Food This Week: Cheeseburger Pods
Location: Satu’li Canteen – Animal Kingdom
Price: $10.99
Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we venture into Animal Kingdom and Pandora – The World of Avatar to check out Satu’li Canteen and the highly anticipated Cheeseburger Pods. The Pods are stuffed with seasoned ground beef, ketchup, mustard, pickle, and cheddar cheese and accompanied by root vegetable chips and vegetable slaw. The entire plate was very good and had great flavor. The pod “bun” is a bit sweet, sort of like a Hawaiian bun, but there was just a little too much of it. As you can see in our picture above I would have liked a little more meat and a bit less bun. This makes a great meal if you have picky eaters in your party who don’t want to try some of the other delicious meals. Overall this is something I would get again and would recommend you give them a try on your next trip. Have you tried them? What did you think?
