Our Favorite Food This Week: Brownie
Location: Contempo Cafe, Contemporary Resort
Price: $3.29
Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we are enjoying the brownie found at many of your resort counter service restaurants and other locations on Disney Property. This particular brownie was purchased at the Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary Resort. Besides ice cream, brownies are my next favorite food group, put them together and I’m in heaven. I’m a big fan of the Disney brownie, it’s not overly rich and the brownie is always moist. Oh and be on the lookout for Mickey shaped sprinkles, there is a couple orange and red ones on our brownie below.

Our Favorite Food This Week: Turtle Cheesecake
Location: Coral Reef Restaurant- Epcot
Price: $8.49
Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week I continue with some of the family favorites with my niece Bailey, she is my chocolate and mac and cheese connoisseur. On this trip she ordered The Chocolate Wave at the Coral Reef Restaurant. Not as fancy as the turtle we saw last week, but this chocolate was no match for Bailey. Winning the clean plate club award makes me think this was an excellent choice for anyone who loves chocolate. Now raise your hands and let’s get the wave going around the room…….

Our Favorite Food This Week: Kakigori
Location: Kabuki Cafe, Japan, Epcot
Price: $3.75 ($1 extra for sweet milk topping)
Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we continue with our Frozen themed posts and take a look at the Kakigori or Japanese Shaved Ice. This past weekend we were hanging out at Epcot with my sister and her family and it was beyond hot. As Olaf puts it “Winter’s a good time to stay in and cuddle / But put me in summer and I’ll be a……….. Happy Snowman”. We all felt like we could turn into a puddle.
So DisneyDayByDay Jr had to find a way to cool down and what better way that Ice. We had heard that the kakigori was good, but have never tried it. We stopped by Kabuki Cafe and ordered one melon flavored. It was definitely good as our son had it gone before we reached the next land.
