This week we again highlight some of the amazing food we had on the Disney Dream during our Alaska cruise. This week we are diving into the desserts. Yes for those of you that know me, I had to try all the desserts on the buffet and yes I was the guy ordering chocolate milk and ice cream with my dessert at dinner. Hey don’t judge, it’s all you can eat so you need to sample. Here is one of our sample plates….yum…. yes indeed

Our Favorite Food This Week: Angus Chuck Cheeseburger
Location: Plaza Restaurant – Magic Kingdom
Price: $14.99 – choice of broccoli slaw, homemade chips or French fries
Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we head back to the Magic Kingdom to the Plaza Restaurant for the Angus Chuck Cheeseburger. This burger was made with high quality meat, had an overall great flavor and was not dried out. It is served on a flour-dusted kaiser roll with lettuce, tomato, and onion. You can also choose other toppings including : Cheddar, American cheese, Bacon, Grilled Mushrooms and Grilled Onions (Veggie Burgers are also available on request.) The side choices are broccoli slaw, homemade chips or French fries. I tried the homemade chips which were very good.
The Plaza Restaurant opened with the Magic Kingdom and can be found at the end of Main Street USA on the hub.

Our Favorite Food This Week: Mickey Mouse Shaped Licorice
Location: All Goofy Candy Company locations throughout the parks

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week I share with you one of my new addictions. Our family loves to grab some Goofy Candy Company treats to snack on while we wait in lines at attractions. These bags are resealable and are enough to share with your family. We recently found the Mickey Mouse Shaped Licorice and boy oh boy are they good. These small bit sized Mickey shaped pieces of red licorice taste just like any other licorice, but they are Mickey shaped and for some reason really addictive. We found ourselves seeking out a second bag on our last trip. As with all Goofy Candy treats they are not always available at every location, so if you don’t find them on your first stop be sure to check the next gift shop with a Goofy Candy display.

This week we are sharing an amazing appetizer from our recent Disney Wonder cruise in Alaska, the Black Truffle Pasta Purseittes. The official description of this appetizer is pasta purse filled with truffle scented cheese and coated with a delicate champagne sauce. It’s definitely melt in your mouth amazing, my wife and I first experienced this appetizer on the Disney Fantasy last year and hoped we would find it on the Disney Wonder as well, yes we did.

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we are sharing the BLT Hot Dog from the Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom. This hot dog is covered in Lettuce, Tomato, Bacon, and Ranch Dressing. Definitely a different combination, but I found the flavors to complement each other.
